At Bayer, we invite all our employees to engage in social media and with Bayer channels! To help you keep up to date with company news, extend your network and many other benefits, we have made social media available from all internal computers. However, there are a number of ground rules concerning the private use of social media for all employees introduced in this section. If you are an expert in your field and want to use social media professionally, you can also learn how to become a social media advocate for Bayer.

Why should I become a social media advocate?

The role of social media advocate provides added value – for Bayer, but most of all for you personally. Not only do you have the opportunity to interact with Bayer content; your expertise, as an advocate, allows you to publish your own content, thereby also expanding your network. You are able to connect with your target group and recognize trends in the industry early on, which benefits both you and Bayer.

Am I allowed to use social media during my working hours?

Bayer recognizes the opportunities that social networks have to offer, so their use is permitted on all internal devices. However, they should never interfere with your work. If you would like to participate professionally in discussions on social media, we support you through our advocacy program.
