Packaging

The top five global seed brands: DEKALB, Asgrow Soybeans, Deltapine, Seminis, DeRuiter and WestBred Wheat (local) will include a prominent Bayer Cross on the front (can be placed where required) and on a base label on the back side. The Bayer logotype will always be placed on the packaging back side. All other seed brands will remain unchanged.

How to use the Bayer Cross combined with a brand name on the front side

Size of Bayer Cross
The Bayer Cross diameter is defined by the height of a capital letter of the brand name. The minimum size of the full-color versions of the Bayer Cross is 10 mm in diameter. The black and white versions never appear below 5 mm in diameter.

Color of Bayer Cross
Depending on the background, you should use either the black or white Bayer Cross. The full-color version should only be used on white or very light backgrounds.

The Bayer Cross can be placed on the left- or right-hand side, depending on what best suits your specific design.

How to use the Bayer logotype on the packaging back side

Size of Bayer logotype
The width of the Bayer logotype should be half of the Bayer Cross diameter. The minimum width of the Bayer logotype is 10 mm.

Color of Bayer logotype
The Bayer logotype is either black or white – depending on the background.

Placement of Bayer logotype
The Bayer logotype can be placed on the left- or right-hand side, depending on what best suits your specific design.

Note: The Bayer logotype must be placed as far away as possible from any warning text or symbol.

Color of artwork

The color scheme of artwork files could be either CMYK or Pantone or a mix of both. The number of colors must not exceed nine.
