Interior signage complements exterior signage and provides an orientation system inside a building.

Reception area
The reception area for most visitors is the first point to approach when entering a Bayer building. Visitors should feel welcome and immediately know they are in a Bayer building. Therefore the area behind a reception desk should be designed appropriately and branded with a Bayer Cross.

Floor identification sign
These interior signs are used primarily in corridors, stairwells and reception areas to provide direction orientation and oor level marking. The design grid and typography, which are always the same, are designed so that the individual signs can be mounted vertically as well as horizontally.

Ceiling hanger
Ceiling hangers are used for identication and orientation in corridors when it is not possible to mount wall signs. The Bayer Cross is not used on ceiling hangers.

Elevator sign
The elevator sign is used for orientation and provides information on what business units are on which oors. The Bayer Cross is not used on elevator signs.

The design grid and typography, which are always the same, are designed so that the width and height of the elevator signs can be adapted to the relevant on-site conditions.

Door sign
In buildings occupied exclusively by Bayer departments door signs do not display the Bayer Cross. These signs are used to clearly identify the room number, indicate which organizational form is found inside, and show the name(s) of the staff member(s) working there.
