History of Roundup^®

In 1970s Monsanto synthesized a molecule that would become known as Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup^® herbicide. For over 45 years Roundup® has helped protect the livelihood of farmers around the world, helping to eradicate the invasive weeds and facilitating the spread of Conservation Tillage around the globe. Today Roundup^® is the most widely used herbicide in the world and also one of the most recognized input brands in the global agriculture.
