Packaging Artwork Creation Guideline

To ensure having artwork files for printed packaging conform regulatory, marketing & technical requirements & ready-to-use for printing, Bayer Crops Science has a global artwork process in place.

This “Packaging Artwork Process Guideline” describes the different steps within the process, the roles & responsibilities of all process participants and tools used.

Process Overview

Bayer Crop Science division runs a de-centralized artwork process using global tools, including various process participants.

Label Author

The Label Author is a person or a group of people belonging to a Country Organization within Crop Science where the manufactured product(s) should go to.

Agency

An ‘Agency‘ is a person or a group of people having technical capabilities to create high-resolution “ready-to-print” PDF artwork files for printed packaging using graphical design software.

Printer

A “Printer” is either a label, shipping case, foil or bag manufacturer.
